Privacy Policy

UpGrow is operated by Molixa AI. When this policy says we, us, or our, it means Molixa AI. If you have any question about your data, you can reach us at support@webotechstudio.com.

We collect only what we need to run the service:

• Account details. Your email address and a hashed password (or the identifier from a sign-in provider), plus a verification status.
• Job and proposal content. The text of the Upwork job you choose to analyze and the draft proposals you generate or refine. This is saved to your account so you can revisit your history.
• Usage and billing records. Your plan, credit balance, and a record of generations so we can meter usage and bill correctly.
• Bring-your-own-key settings. If you choose BYOK, your model provider keys are stored so the app can call those providers as you.
• First-party analytics. Basic page views and product events (for example, that a proposal was generated) so we can understand what is working and fix what is not. This is our own analytics, not a third-party ad network.

The companion Chrome extension reads the content of the single Upwork job page you are currently viewing, and only when you click Analyze. It does not run on its own, it does not read your other tabs, it does not crawl or follow links, and it never submits anything to Upwork for you.

Your UpGrow API token is stored locally in your browser so the extension can identify your account. The token stays on your device and is sent only to UpGrow servers, over HTTPS, to authenticate your requests. You can revoke a token at any time from the extension page in your account.

We use your data to provide the service: to generate winnability reads, client reads, and proposals, to save your history, to meter credits and process billing, to keep your account secure, and to improve the product. We do not sell or rent your data, and we do not use it for advertising.

We share data only with the providers that make UpGrow work, and only to the extent needed:

• Model providers. To generate your reads and proposals, the relevant job or draft text is sent to the AI model provider that powers that step. On BYOK, requests go to the providers whose keys you supplied.
• Polar. Our payment provider handles checkout, subscriptions, and credit purchases. Card details go directly to Polar; we do not store your full card number.
• Infrastructure. Hosting and database providers (including Supabase) store and serve the data described above on our behalf.

We may also disclose data if required by law or to protect the rights and safety of our users and the service.

UpGrow works alongside Upwork, but it is not affiliated with or endorsed by Upwork. When you use UpGrow with Upwork, your use of Upwork remains governed by Upwork's own terms and privacy policy. The same applies to any model provider whose key you bring.

Analyses and proposals stay tied to your account until you remove them. You can delete your account at any time. Deleting your account removes your saved analyses and proposals from our records, subject to limited billing records we may keep to meet legal and accounting obligations.

You can access, correct, export, or delete your personal data. You can edit account details in your settings, delete your account from your account, and revoke API tokens at any time. For any request you cannot complete in the app, email us at support@webotechstudio.com and we will help.

Requests are sent over HTTPS and encrypted in transit. Passwords are stored hashed, never in plain text. No system is perfectly secure, but we take reasonable measures to protect your data and limit access to it.

UpGrow is not intended for anyone under 18, and we do not knowingly collect data from children.

We may update this policy as the product evolves. When we make a meaningful change, we will update the date at the top of this page.
